Dr. Wilks was an Obstetrician-Gynecologist in private practice for nine years. Since 1997, Dr. Wilks has been practicing Medical Acupuncture and other aspects of complementary and alternative medicine.
She has been an avid photographer since 1978. Several of her travel interests are reflected in her photographic work, including the Navajo Nation and Northern Arizona, Guatemala, Asia, Southern California, and the Northeast.
